RingSurf - Transfer of Data

The truly outstanding thing about the new RingSurf, is the seamless transfer of data between the old system and the new, with no input being required from the member ringmasters, or webmasters having to get new code for the navpanel hosted on their site!! :-)
Compare this with the complicated transfer of data between the new WebRing and Y!Webring (even considering the login stuff), that had a large number of ringmasters giving up. Of course WebRing just transferred these abandoned rings, and now manages on auto pilot a huge number of rings (thousands of rings that nobody wants to adopt, not to mention rings that had been deleted by their Ringmasters)...
All the other stuff can easily be fixed, and as Rob says this should be accomplished within a few months.
And best of all as James has pointed out, the new RingSurf is actually listening to it's member Ringmasters, and is actively engaged in fixing problems yesterday.
So overall the New RingSurf gets 2 thumbs up from me!! :-)
